TOPIC: Snow …
Posted: 1/18/2012, 4:28 p.m. EST
Okay so the snow continues to pile up. I think dad said there is like 50 feet of it on the ground, or was that 5 inches? Anyway, us dawgs are not real good with numbers. I had a calculator, but the buttons were too small for my paws. As a result I rely on the weather girls on Channel 17 or 13 to tell me what the heck is happening out there. Surprisingly enough, us dawgs are good listeners.
TOPIC: Exercise … Posted: 1/17/2012, 6:46 p.m. EST
So the vet tells mom I have to lose some weight. Apparently a sedentary life style mixed with massive quantities of bacon and SkippyTreats are the perfect recipe for weight gain. Of course it is not my fault, it’s the humans who keep giving in to the begging and whining. Time to hit the treadmill or chase the cat. Maybe I can multitask and chase the cat on the treadmill.

More Signs Technology Has Taken Over Your Life ...
You constantly find yourself in groups of people to whom you say the phrase "digital compression." Everyone understands what you mean, and you are not surprised or disappointed that you don't have to explain it.
You know Bill Gates' e-mail address, but you have to look up your own social security number.
You stop saying "phone number" and replace it with "voice number," since we all know the majority of phone lines in any house are plugged into contraptions that talk to other contraptions.
You sign Christmas cards by putting :-) next to your signature.
Off the top of your head, you can think of nineteen keystroke symbols that are far more clever than :-).
You back up your data every day.
You know more about the computer than about all of your friends.
You are able to argue persuasively the Ross Perot's phrase "electronic town hall" makes more sense than the term "information superhighway," but you don't because, after all, the man still uses hand-drawn pie charts.

... Popcorn ...
Popcorn differs from other types of maize/corn in that is has a thicker pericarp/hull The hull allows pressure from the heated water to build and eventually bursts open The inside starch becomes gelatinous while being heated; when the hull bursts, the gelatinized starch spills out and cools, giving it its familiar popcorn shape
